About The Position

Drive in a Northeast regional fleet covering the Northeast and New England, extending as far south as Virginia. Routes serve different customers each week with no set lane. Drivers are home every week and average about 1,900 miles weekly, mostly drop and hook. Starting mileage pay is $0.80 per mile, increasing by $0.01 each year up to $0.85 per mile. Additional pay includes $15 per stop and $80 when an unload is required. Average weekly gross pay is $1,700. The role includes paid on-the-road training with a driver trainer, followed by a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first three months solo. Training pay is $850 per week. Riders and pets are allowed after training is complete.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• New drivers must have 120 or more hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers must have six months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12 or more months of OTR experience in the past five years.
• No more than two moving violations in the past two years.
• No major preventable accidents in the past five years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Complete paid on-the-road training with a driver trainer.
• Drive regional routes across the Northeast and New England, as far south as Virginia.
• Transport freight for different customers each week; routes do not follow a set lane.
• Complete primarily drop-and-hook work and required stops or unloads.
