Dedicated CDL-A Trainee - Retail Freight - Home Weekly - Paid Training
About The Position
A dedicated retail-freight driving role for new CDL holders covering New Jersey, New York City, and Connecticut. Runs are round trips, and drivers are home every week. The position includes paid mentor training at $650 per week, with approximately 2,100 miles driven weekly. Day and night shifts are available. Weekend and holiday work is required, and there is no time off during peak season from October through December. Average weekly gross earnings are stated as $1,700 to $2,000, with pay of $0.85 to $0.90 per mile and an additional $75 for each delivery to a New York City borough. Orientation pays $300, and travel is covered.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Class A CDL.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.
- Live in New Jersey, New York, or Connecticut.
- Have no more than two moving violations in the past two years.
- Have no major preventable accidents in the past five years.
- Pass hair and urine drug testing.
Responsibilities
- Drive dedicated retail freight across New Jersey, New York City, and Connecticut.
- Complete round-trip runs and deliver freight, including deliveries to New York City boroughs.
- Work approximately 2,100 miles per week.
- Work weekends and holidays as required, with no time off during peak season from October through December.
- Participate in paid mentor training.
