CDL-A Trainee - No Experience Needed
About The Position
We are hiring CDL-A drivers in the South Daytona, FL area for OTR routes with an assigned truck, 100% no-touch dry van freight, and a set home-time schedule. New CDL-A holders and experienced drivers are both welcome to apply. This position offers a real look at the truck, the freight, and the schedule before you apply, with no vague promises or surprises after orientation. The freight is 100% no-touch, dry van only, meaning no loading or unloading, just driving. Drivers will be out for 14 days and have 2 full days home. The trucks are 2024 and newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia models with automatic transmissions, assigned exclusively to the driver, and can be taken home during scheduled days off. Experienced drivers move straight into solo operations if requirements are met.
Requirements
- 21 years or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Solid driving record and work history
- Pass DOT drug test and background check
- Experienced drivers: at least 6 months verifiable solo driving time; mentor/trainer time doesn't count
- New CDL-A holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
Nice To Haves
- Completion of the company training program for new CDL-A holders.
Responsibilities
