CDL-A Trainee – Paid Training Provided
About The Position
This position is for a CDL-A Trainee who will receive paid training. The role involves running reefer freight across six western states and offers home time every two weeks. Trainees will receive $850 per week during training and paid one-on-one OTR training with an experienced mentor. Upon completion of training, drivers will be upgraded to a full solo mileage rate. The average weekly earnings are between $1,200 to $1,500, with a starting mileage pay of $0.51 cpm. There is guaranteed pay for the first 3 months after the first solo dispatch, along with a monthly performance bonus and $15 stop pay. The routes are regional, covering CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, and WA, with approximately 1,900 to 2,100 miles weekly. Drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading freight.
Requirements
- Minimum of 120 hours from an accredited CDL school required to start.
- New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo experience.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Clean MVR and background check.
- Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
