About The Position
This dedicated regional retail account involves hauling freight for Family Dollar in Oklahoma, with drivers averaging 1,600 miles per week. The position requires approximately 2-3 loads per week, with 2-6 stops per load. Drivers will unload freight using rollers and will have weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. Approximately 75% of deliveries are in Texas, with remaining routes potentially including Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The trucks are sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53-foot dry van trailers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to unload freight using rollers
- Ability to handle multi-stop deliveries
