CDL-A Regional Driver – Good Pay + Bonus | South Texas
About The Position
The CDL-A Regional Driver hauls dry van freight on regional routes across South Texas, starting in Laredo. Routes cover the South Texas triangle, including Houston, San Antonio, Laredo, McAllen, Brownsville, and Harlingen. This is not a dedicated account, and freight is no-touch. Freight may involve drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded trailers. Drivers must operate in accordance with Texas hours-of-service requirements. The position offers average weekly pay of $1,300, minimum daily pay of $220, and eligibility for a mileage-based performance bonus. The schedule is six days on and two days off, with weekly time off and opportunities to get home more often. Drivers must be able to work day or night routes and some holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- First-seat/experienced driver.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must not be an SAP driver.
- Must be able to work day or night shifts and some holidays as needed.
- Must meet applicable safety and hours-of-service requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Hazmat endorsement.
Responsibilities
- Haul dry van freight on regional routes throughout South Texas.
