About The Position

This program is designed for individuals who have recently graduated from CDL school and are looking for a structured entry into the trucking industry. It offers real mentorship, guaranteed weekly pay during training and the initial solo period, and a clear progression to higher solo earnings. The freight operates east of I 35, excluding New York City and its boroughs. The freight is 100% no-touch dry van, with approximately 70% drop and hook and 30% live load/unload. Drivers will operate modern Freightliner or Kenworth automatic trucks equipped with APUs. Once solo, drivers will have their own truck with potential take-home options. Riders and pets are permitted after training. The typical schedule is 12 days out and 2 days home.

Requirements

Valid CDL-A.
At least 21 years of age.
120+ hours completed at an accredited CDL school.
Stable work history.
Clean driving record.
Clean background record.
Active DOT medical card.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Drive a 2022 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth automatic truck.
Operate APU equipped trucks for rest breaks.
Complete 4 to 6 weeks of hands-on training with an experienced trainer.
Learn trip planning, backing and maneuvering, drop and hook procedures, log book and ELD compliance.
Handle live load and unload stops.
Understand company systems and communication with dispatch.
Maintain a clean driving and background record.
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
