About The Position

We are hiring new CDL-A drivers who live in Port Arthur, Nederland, Groves, Port Neches and Beaumont. This regional fleet is based in Houston, with most of the freight staying within Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and some loads extending into Alabama, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois. Drivers can expect to drive between 1,700 and 2,000 miles per week, with loads being a mix of drop and hook, preloads, and live loads. The fleet's proximity to the Gulf Coast often allows for routing back home, and drivers are home every 2 weeks. New graduates are welcome, and paid training with a mentor is provided.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• At least 21 years old
• New CDL grad or recent experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• Must pass DOT physical, hair, and urine drug test
• Reside in Port Arthur, Nederland, Groves, Port Neches, or Beaumont

Responsibilities

• Drive a regional fleet based in Houston.
• Transport freight primarily within Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, with occasional loads into Alabama, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois.
• Operate a mix of drop and hook, preloaded, and live loaded freight.
• Maintain weekly mileage between 1,700 and 2,000 miles.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete paid training with a mentor for the first 3-5 weeks.
• Undergo orientation lasting no more than 2 days.
