About The Position

Kroger is hiring a CDL-A Regional Driver for a dedicated fleet based in the Denver metro area. Drivers earn an average of $1,625 per week, with top weekly pay of $1,700. Compensation includes mileage pay and a Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus. The posting lists average annualized pay of $84,500 and top annualized pay of $85,800. The role involves dedicated regional freight primarily in Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Utah. Drivers average approximately 1,700 miles, six loads, and 13 stops per week. Freight is mostly no-touch, with live unload and drop-and-hook operations. Mountain routes may require a two-day run. Drivers are home weekly, with opportunities to come through the house every other day, and work six days followed by two days off. Driving includes day and night shifts and weekends. Drivers operate newer 2025-model automatic trucks equipped with automatic tire chains. 24/7 support staff are available.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least three months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Ability to work regional routes, including day and night shifts and weekends.
Ability to operate safely in mountain and winter driving conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate a truck on dedicated regional routes primarily in Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Utah.
Transport dedicated regional freight, including mostly no-touch freight and loads involving live unload and drop-and-hook operations.
Drive approximately 1,700 miles per week and handle around six loads and 13 stops weekly.
Operate safely on mountain and winter routes, including mountain runs that may take two days.
Work day and night driving schedules and weekends.
