About The Position
HWY Express is hiring a full-time CDL-A truck driver based in Jackson, Mississippi. The position offers regional freight and no-touch freight, so drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading. Drivers have six days off each month and earn $1,350–$1,450 per week through a guaranteed minimum pay program. The role uses late-model Kenworth T680 tractors with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, and driver-comfort features. Driver Support Specialists are available 24/7 for communication, trip updates, and day-to-day questions.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience within the last year.
- A current CDL-A license.
- A valid DOT physical.
Responsibilities
- Drive regional freight routes.
- Operate a Kenworth T680 tractor equipped with an automatic transmission, APU, and inverter.
- Transport no-touch freight; loading and unloading are not required.
- Communicate with Driver Support Specialists as needed for trip updates and day-to-day questions.
