About The Position

Dedicated regional account running out of Kansas City, offering a higher pay scale, consistent freight, and the same dispatcher/planner throughout the region. This position offers an average weekly earning of $1,400 to $1,500, with pay based on experience ranging from $0.56 to $0.64 per mile. New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply and will participate in a paid over-the-road training program. The freight is mostly drop and hook, with some live load, live unload, and preload assignments. Drivers will be home once a week on a 34-hour restart, with both day and night shifts available. Weekend work is required, and holiday work is expected if not taking home time.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL in state of residence.
• At least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record: no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.
• New CDL-A holders must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL training school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle for regional routes.
