About The Position

This regional driving position is designed for CDL-A graduates and drivers with recent experience, offering runs that stay west of the Mississippi River and provide home time every two weeks. Even new drivers with a brand-new license and zero miles are welcome, as paid training is provided, and drivers are never left alone. The role involves daily runs within western states, with the option to run past the Mississippi if more miles are desired. Dispatch operates day and night, including weekends, with holidays negotiable with a driver leader. The company emphasizes providing straight answers and support for new drivers, including extensive training and a guaranteed weekly pay for the initial solo period.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Class A CDL in hand.
Recent CDL school graduate with 120+ hours, or 6 months of recent driving experience.
2 or fewer moving violations in the past 2 years.
No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
Must pass a DOT physical, hair test, and urine test.

Responsibilities

Run western states only, staying west of the Mississippi River.
Complete regional runs, returning home every two weeks.
Handle day and night dispatch, including weekends.
Work with driver leader to arrange holiday work if desired.
Participate in training with a mentor for backing, logs, fuel stops, and route planning.
Operate a truck with a fleet average age of 1.5 years, with options for 10-speeds and automatics.

Benefits

Paid training.
Training pay: $850 a week.
Guaranteed $1,000 a week for the first 90 days solo.
Average weekly pay: $1,000 to $1,200.
Weekly miles: 1,800 to 2,200.
Most runs are 3 days or less.

Up to $0.06 per mile monthly performance bonus.
