About The Position

This regional intermodal job is for CDL A drivers in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Drivers can take the tractor home on their days off and get paid for those miles. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an average weekly pay of $1,538, equating to approximately $80,000 annually. The work involves moving rail containers between customers and rail yards, with runs extending to Memphis. It is a 100% no-touch freight position with 75% drop and hook. Drivers can choose their start times, and managers are on-site at the Haslet yard.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 21 years old.
3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 6 months with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
Hazmat endorsement required within 180 days of orientation (cost reimbursed, training modules provided).
Reliable personal transportation and a safe place to park the tractor, or use of the Haslet yard.
No more than 2 moving violations and no careless or reckless driving in the last 3 years.
No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must pass hair and urine drug testing, with no failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Move rail containers between customers and rail yards in Haslet and Wylie, Texas.
Some runs may extend to Memphis.
Every run starts or ends at the Haslet rail yard.
Operate within Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri and Kansas.
Work within a 24/7/365 operation.
