About The Position

Looking for a CDL-A job where you can get home every day and still earn strong money? This local container position offers steady work out of Wilmington, DE, daily home time, modern automatic trucks, and consistent weekly miles.

Local and regional container work based around Wilmington, DE. Haul 40-foot containers from the port to customer locations. Primarily drop-and-hook freight with no-touch freight. Some local port shuttle work is also involved. Workdays are approximately 10 hours long, with typical start times between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Drivers generally work 5-6 days per week, with Sunday/Monday as typical days off. Some holiday work may be required based on customer needs. Drivers must be flexible when daily dispatch plans change.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of recent container or tanker experience within the last 3 years
• TWIC card required
• Willing to complete account-specific training before running solo

• Some openings may be available for drivers with 6 months of tractor-trailer experience

Responsibilities

• Haul 40-foot containers from the port to customer locations
