About The Position

San Benito drivers, this local seat keeps you home in Texas, every single load, with dedicated planners who know your routes and repeat customers waiting on the other end. This position offers 100% Texas freight with no exceptions, and 80% drop and hook. You will have dedicated planners, familiar routes, and repeat customers. The schedule is 6 days on, 2 days off, with home time once a week. Early AM driving is expected. Weekends off are not guaranteed, and some holiday work is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must run on Texas hours of service.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• High safety score required.
• Must be crash-free.
• Clean MVR and background check.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer locally within Texas.
• Manage assigned routes and customers.
• Adhere to company safety standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Perform drop and hook operations.
• Accept and deliver freight.
• Communicate with dispatch and planners.
• Maintain a clean MVR and background.
• Pass drug and alcohol testing.
