About The Position

This regional driving position involves transporting intermodal containers across the Midwest (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Kentucky). Drivers operate newer automatic trucks, primarily on a drop-and-hook basis, with the flexibility to choose their start times and two consecutive days off each week. The role offers a consistent schedule, competitive pay, and a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL.
• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 3 months in the last 6 with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Must obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• No careless or reckless driving.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI in 5 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• No failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport intermodal containers across the Midwest.
• Operate automatic trucks, averaging 2.5 years old.
• Perform approximately 75% drop and hook operations.
• Adhere to a chosen weekly start time and secure two consecutive days off.
• Work weekends for an additional bonus.
• Complete training for 1-2 weeks, including hotel stay.
• Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
