About The Position

This position is for recent CDL A graduates looking for company truck driver jobs in the Eastern Regional Fleet, specifically in Ocala, FL. The role involves solo dry van trucking and offers paid training with ride-along/trainer support. Drivers who have completed school and training with another company and maintained a clean driving record may be eligible for a modified training program with a mentor. The job requires drivers to be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and have held a regular US driver’s license for the last 12 consecutive months. Trainees will initially be Over the road with a mentor for 4-6 weeks, earning $650.00 per week. After training, drivers will earn .55 Cents Per Mile (CPM). The position averages $1200 weekly with approximately 2500 miles per week. Home time is every two weeks, and shifts can be either day or night. The role involves dry van trailers with no-touch freight, with loads running up and down the eastern seaboard.

Requirements

CDL A holders with no experience and 120 hours in a CDL School.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Held a regular US driver’s license for the last 12 consecutive months.
No Sap drivers.
Clean criminal background.
No more than 2 MV's in the last 2 years.
No 15 mph over speeding tickets in the last 12 months.
No year long gaps of unemployment in the last 7 years unless in school (self-employment must be verifiable).
Must be able to pass a hair test.
No DUI/DWI.

Nice To Haves

Drivers who completed school and training with another company and did not have any moving violations or preventable accidents during the time they have held a CDL can participate in a modified training program with a mentor.
Military experience with a valid DD214 and completion of a 'Military verification form' will be considered.

Responsibilities
