About The Position

This position is for recent CDL A graduates looking for company truck driver jobs in the Eastern Regional Fleet, specifically for dry van routes originating from Harrisburg, PA. The role involves paid training with ride-along and trainer support. Drivers who have completed school and training with another company without moving violations or preventable accidents may participate in a modified training program with a mentor. Trainees will initially be over-the-road with a mentor for 4-6 weeks, earning $650.00 per week. After training, drivers will earn $0.55 Cents Per Mile (CPM). The average weekly pay is between $1,000 and $1,200, with drivers averaging 2,000 miles per week. Home time is every two weeks, and shifts can be either day or night. The freight is dry van with no-touch requirements, and loads primarily run up and down the eastern seaboard.

Requirements

Accepting CDL-A holders with no experience and 120 hours in a CDL School.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Must have held a regular US driver’s license for the last 12 consecutive months.
No more than 2 MV's in the last 2 years.
No 15 mph over speeding tickets in the last 12 months.
No year-long gaps of unemployment in the last 7 years unless in school (self-employment must be verifiable).
Must be able to pass a hair test.
No DUI/DWI.
Clean criminal background.
Will consider Military experience with a valid DD214 and the Driver will have to complete a 'Military verification form'.

Nice To Haves

If a Driver completed school and training with another company and did not have any moving violations or preventable accidents during the time they have held a CDL, they can participate in a modified training program with a mentor.

Responsibilities

Complete paid training with ride-along/trainer support.
