About The Position

Partner with NFI, a licensed motor carrier, as an independent owner-operator. You operate under your own authority and provide your truck, expertise, and business, while NFI provides consistent, year-round intermodal freight and weekly settlements. Choose local and regional routes to and from Long Beach, California, and decide when and how much you haul. No long-term contracts are required. Average weekly settlements range from $3,200 to $6,650, depending on the lane. The opportunity also includes a $1,000 sign-on lease incentive and referral incentives of $1,000, depending on the opportunity. NFI provides access to its privately owned, self-maintained chassis pool and affordable, reliable parking locations.

Requirements

• Must operate under your own authority.
• Must have your own insurance.
• Must have a TWIC.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate under your own authority as an owner-operator.
• Provide and operate your own truck.
• Haul year-round intermodal freight on local and regional routes to and from Long Beach, California.
• Choose when and how much to haul.
