About The Position

We are seeking a CDL-A Owner Operator for TransAm, currently hiring in the New Orleans, LA area. You can run under the carrier's authority or your own. We offer competitive percentage or flat per-mile rates, with fuel discounts and support programs available. Must have a valid CDL-A and your own truck or arrange financing.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Minimum 3 months minimum of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) — no more than 3 minor violations in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI convictions
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
• No at-fault preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Must be located within or willing to operate in the carrier's hiring area
• Must have your own truck or arrange financing

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle under the carrier's authority or your own.
• Maintain a clean MVR and adhere to all DOT regulations.
• Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
