About The Position

Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional seasonal CDL Class A, B, or C drivers to support its team during the holiday peak season. Drivers operate dedicated local routes departing from Piscataway, New Jersey, around 3:30 AM–5:30 AM and return home daily. Routes run Monday through Sunday, with guaranteed scheduled shifts from Thanksgiving through New Year's and the possibility of continuing as an on-call driver after the peak season. The work includes touch freight: scanning, loading, and unloading boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers. Drivers are paid $225–$315 per workday depending on the lane and receive paid training with an experienced driver. The company provides new diesel and electric box trucks maintained through a preventative maintenance program. Strange Trip Inc. is a family-owned and operated FedEx Custom Critical contractor that emphasizes professionalism, safety, respect, fairness, and long-term partnerships with drivers.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A, B, or C license.
Hazmat endorsement if holding a CDL Class C.
Clean motor vehicle record and criminal background.
Availability and flexibility throughout the holiday peak season.

Prior truck-driving experience is strongly preferred.
