About The Position

Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable, professional seasonal CDL drivers to support local routes during the holiday peak season. Routes depart from Piscataway, New Jersey, around 3:30–5:30 a.m., with drivers home daily. Scheduled shifts are available from Thanksgiving through New Year's, with multiple schedules and routes operating Monday through Sunday. After New Year's, there may be an opportunity to continue driving on an on-call basis. Drivers operate new diesel and electric box trucks maintained through a preventative maintenance program. The work includes touch freight: scanning, loading, and unloading boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers. Paid training with an experienced driver is provided. Pay is $225–$315 per day depending on the lane, with weekly direct deposit as a W2 company driver.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A, B, or C license.
A Hazmat endorsement is required for drivers holding a CDL Class C.
Clean motor vehicle record and criminal background.
Availability and flexibility throughout the holiday peak season.
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality.
Excellent communication skills.
Commitment to safety, customer service, and equipment care.

Nice To Haves

Prior truck-driving experience is strongly preferred.
