CDL-A No-Touch Driver
About The Position
Flint Logistics is hiring a CDL-A driver to haul 100% no-touch dry van freight consisting of general commodities across established lanes throughout the lower 48 states. Most loads are drop-and-hook, and drivers are not required to load or unload freight. Organized load planning supports steady movement and dependable weekly miles, with weekly home time. Pay is $1,400 to $1,600 per week, with a $1,200 minimum weekly pay during the first 90 days. Four-day orientation includes transportation by flight or rental car, meals, and $1,000 in orientation pay. Available tractors are 2017–2022 Freightliner, Volvo, and Peterbilt models equipped with automatic transmissions, an APU, and an inverter.
Requirements
- Have a CDL-A license in the state of residence.
- Have at least 6 months of experience in the last 24 months or 1 year of experience in the last 3 years.
- Have experience with trailers 48 feet or longer.
- Have a current DOT physical or obtain assistance with the cost of a new one.
Responsibilities
- Haul general commodity freight in dry van trailers throughout established lanes across the lower 48 states.
- Operate predominantly drop-and-hook loads.
- Follow organized load planning and driver-friendly schedules while returning home weekly.
