About The Position

Oak Harbor Freight Lines is hiring local and regional linehaul drivers to safely transport freight between terminals or meet points across WA, OR, ID, NV, UT, AZ, and CA. The role involves operating tractor-trailer combinations, including in challenging road and weather conditions, and chaining up when needed. Drivers should expect to be home nightly on most routes. No-touch freight. Experienced drivers can start at $0.85 per mile or $36.52 per hour, with pay for each drop, hook, chain, fuel stop, and wait time. Weekend and/or night work may be required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent, consecutive, verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements required at the time of application.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record, with no DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past three years.
• Strong communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Basic proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

• No doubles experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities
