CDL-A New Driver Program - Paid Training
About The Position
We are hiring CDL-A drivers in the Hueytown, AL area for OTR routes with a personally assigned truck, 100% no-touch dry van freight, and a schedule that holds up week to week. New CDL-A holders and experienced drivers are both welcome to apply. This program offers a structured mentorship, weekly pay while you learn, and your own assigned truck once you're solo. The program includes $300 orientation pay, plus transportation to orientation covered. New CDL-A holders will receive guaranteed weekly pay during a 3 to 5 week mentorship program (about 200 to 250 hours hands-on). Experienced drivers may move straight into solo operations if requirements are met. The equipment provided includes 2024 and newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia automatic transmission trucks. Drivers will have one truck assigned to them, with no slip seating, and can take it home during scheduled days off. The freight is 100% no-touch, dry van only. The schedule is 14 days out with 2 full days home. Once solo, drivers can expect an average weekly gross of $1,400 to $1,600, with the top 25% averaging up to $1,800 per week gross. Pay scales with CPM, miles driven, and performance. Direct deposit is provided every week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- 21 years or older
- Solid driving record and work history
- Pass DOT drug test and background check
- Meet all applicable DOT and company requirements
Nice To Haves
- New CDL-A holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
- Experienced drivers: at least 6 months verifiable solo driving time (mentor/trainer time doesn't count)
Responsibilities
