CDL A Lowboy Driver
About The Position
Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking CDL A Lowboy Drivers to move equipment for company operations in the regional area using a lowboy, with occasional pallet-jack use. Routes operate in Toledo, Springfield, Pittsburgh, Modena, Glens Falls, Syracuse, Tonawanda, and Ewing. Drivers are home most nights, with occasional overnight stays every one or two weeks; a hotel is provided. The schedule is five days per week and averages 40 or more hours. The position is full-time and pays $40.00 per hour. Work is in person. Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. collects and recycles used cooking oil, processing it into biodiesel, a carbon-reducing alternative fuel. The company has operated since 2005, serves more than 27,000 locations across 15 states, and complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A.
- At least 5 years of tractor-trailer operating experience or 1,000,000 safe miles.
- Excellent manual 18-speed driving skills.
- Hard-working and reliable.
- Safe driving record and ability to meet the company's insurance criteria.
- Drug-free.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
