About The Position

Walmart is hiring a CDL-A Local Truck Driver for a dedicated local delivery account based in Colton, California. The role involves no-touch freight and multi-stop deliveries, typically 1–2 stops per day, within the Los Angeles Basin, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County. Drivers operate local day-cab equipment in a slip-seat operation; trucks cannot be taken home. The position averages approximately 1,700 miles per week and offers home-daily work. Pay includes mileage-band pay, stop pay, and detention pay. Average pay is $1,550 per week ($80,541 annualized), with top pay of $2,050 per week ($105,812 annualized), plus a $1,000 holiday start bonus. This is a 24-hour operation. Start times are assigned based on operational needs after onboarding. Peak seasons may require a six-day workweek with one day off. The Colton yard is located at 2250 Riverside Avenue, Colton, CA.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
Flexibility to work assigned shifts and additional days during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

Make dedicated local deliveries across the Los Angeles Basin, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County.
