CDL-A Local Driver – Good Pay + Consecutive Days Off
About The Position
Lidl is hiring a local CDL-A driver to deliver dedicated retail freight from its distribution facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role averages approximately 1,300 miles per week, with deliveries throughout Virginia and Maryland. Drivers load and unload trailers using an electric pallet jack and reload returned freight back to the distribution center. Trucks are automatic and pull 53-foot trailers. The position offers daily home time and a consistent five-day workweek, including weekends, with two consecutive days off each week. The current opening is for the night shift. Drivers must provide their own reliable vehicle to commute daily to the Fredericksburg facility. Average pay is $1,700 per week ($86,892 annualized), with top weekly pay of $1,750 ($90,220 annualized). Compensation includes CPM, load pay, and stop pay.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must not be an SAP driver.
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily commuting to the Fredericksburg facility.
