About The Position

Drive for a dedicated local grocery account based in Gordonsville, Virginia, hauling dry and refrigerated freight through Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Freight is no-touch, with live unloads. Drivers average approximately 1,600–1,700 miles per week and are home daily, working five days on and two days off each week. Days off are consistent, but weekends off are unavailable. Shifts are 11–14 hours and may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Drivers use newer slip-seat day-cab trucks and have access to 24/7 on-site support. Reliable personal transportation to the distribution center is required.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Reliable personal transportation to the Gordonsville distribution center.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Haul dedicated local grocery freight, including dry and refrigerated loads.
• Drive routes through Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
• Perform live unloads for no-touch freight.
• Work five days on and two days off weekly, with daily home time.
• Work 11–14-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• $4,000 sign-on bonus paid in stages through day 180, subject to remaining an active company driver at payout milestones.
