About The Position

Drive a dedicated regional route for a Walmart account based in Baltimore, Maryland. The fleet averages approximately 1,900 miles per week and pays by the mile and by the stop. Average weekly pay is $1,600, with top weekly pay of $2,100, plus a $1,000 holiday start bonus. Freight is no-touch, with live loading and unloading and drop-and-hook operations. The delivery territory includes Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and Washington, DC; deliveries in New York City are excluded. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset, with the possibility of being home two to three days per week. The position uses a regional schedule and requires overnight travel. Drivers use dedicated, top-of-the-line automatic sleeper trucks with 53-foot dry van and reefer trailers. Trucks are parked at the distribution center.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Clean driving record.
DOT Medical Card.
Drivers with SAP status are not accepted.
Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center.
Comfort with regional driving and overnight travel.

Responsibilities
