CDL-A Local Driver – GOOD PAY + $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
Earn an average of $80,000 per year hauling frozen meat on a dedicated local route in the Denver area. Enjoy home daily, a Sunday–Thursday schedule, evening start times, and yearly mileage-pay increases. This is a hands-on delivery position that requires unloading palletized meat at the customer site. The route involves hauling frozen meat from the distribution center in Ft. Morgan to a drop yard in Commerce City, then delivering to the customer’s freezer facility. Drivers must complete onboarding and training in Denver, CO. Commerce City is a remote domicile with no management onsite.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be able to lift up to 85 lbs.
- Must be comfortable with physical unloading and frequent customer interaction.
- Must complete onboarding and training in Denver, CO.
- Must be willing to assist other accounts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Haul palletized frozen meat in refrigerated trailers.
- Transport freight from the distribution center in Ft. Morgan to the Commerce City drop yard.
- Unload palletized meat into freezers at the customer site.
- Use a dolly, electric pallet jack, and liftgate for unloading.
- May assist other dedicated accounts as required.
- Provide customer service due to frequent customer interaction.
