About The Position

Drive for a dedicated local grocery operation serving the Denver metro area. Loads begin at the distribution center in Aurora, Colorado, with deliveries to grocery stores throughout Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming. The operation averages approximately 1,700 miles per week, 1–3 loads per day, and 13 stops per week, with live unloads and drop-and-hook freight. Routes have recurring delivery locations, and drivers use newer automatic-transmission trucks. Trucks must be parked at the facility and cannot be taken home. The role offers daily home time, though occasional overnight runs may be required during surge periods. The schedule is six days on followed by two days off. Shifts include nights, evenings, and early mornings, with variable start times in a 24/7 operation. Occasional short mountain runs are part of the operation. Average weekly pay is $1,625, with top weekly pay of $1,650. Average annual pay is $84,500, with top annualized pay of $85,800. Compensation is mileage-based, with a Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus available to drivers who meet the account’s safety and on-time standards.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 years of driving experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Availability for variable night, evening, and early-morning shifts.
Ability to complete local deliveries and occasional overnight runs when required.
Must meet the account’s safety and on-time standards to qualify for the bonus.

Responsibilities

Deliver grocery freight to stores throughout Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Complete approximately 1–3 loads per day and 13 stops per week, including live unloads and drop-and-hook freight.
Operate local routes starting from the distribution center in Aurora, Colorado.
Be available for variable night, evening, and early-morning shifts and occasional overnight runs when required.
Meet the account’s safety and on-time standards to qualify for the mileage bonus.
Park the truck at the facility rather than taking it home.
