About The Position
Lidl is hiring a local CDL-A Driver based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Drivers average approximately 1,300 miles per week, delivering throughout Virginia and Maryland. The role uses automatic trucks with 53-foot trailers and involves loading and unloading freight with an electric pallet jack, as well as reloading returned freight for delivery back to the distribution center. The schedule is a five-day workweek that includes weekends, with a night shift, daily home time, and two consecutive days off. Pay is mileage-, load-, and stop-based. Average weekly pay is $1,700, with top weekly pay of $1,750; average annual pay is $86,892, with top annual pay of $90,220. The posting also offers a $1,000 holiday start bonus. Reliable personal transportation is required for daily commuting.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience (confirm before posting).
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to load and unload freight using an electric pallet jack.
- Reliable personal transportation for daily commuting.
