About The Position

Drive for a dedicated local grocery delivery account for Walmart, based at the distribution center at 58 South Thornton Avenue in Casa Grande, Arizona. Deliveries are made within approximately a 225-mile radius. Drivers average 8–15 loads per week, typically with 3–4 stops per load. Freight is mostly no-touch and live-unloaded. The position offers mileage-band pay, stop pay, and detention pay. Average weekly pay is $1,250, with top weekly pay of $1,550. Average annual pay is $65,360, with top annualized pay of $79,818. A $1,000 holiday start bonus is offered. Drivers are home daily and must be flexible and willing to work any shift. The role uses automatic day-cab trucks in a slip-seat operation; trucks cannot be taken home. Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center is required.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
Must not be a SAP driver.
Reliable daily transportation to and from the distribution center.
Must be flexible and willing to work any shift.

Responsibilities
