About The Position

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local Meijer dedicated account. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for daily home time, consistent freight, and steady income. The account runs 24/7 with start times varying. Shifts average approximately 12 hours per day, and nights, weekends, and holidays are required. The running area is within OH, KY, IN (within 250 miles of the DC). Freight is a mix of dry and refrigerated, and it is no-touch freight, consisting of a mix of drop and hook and live unload. Drivers will be running approximately 1,600-1,700 miles per week. Newer day cabs are used, and it is a slip seat operation. A 1-day paid ride-along training is provided.

Requirements

• CDL-A License
• Must have reliable transportation to/from DC daily
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays

• Experience with dry and refrigerated freight.
• Experience with drop and hook + live unload.
• Ability to work flexible hours for part-time option.

Responsibilities

• Drive a CDL-A truck for the Meijer account.
• Operate within OH, KY, IN (within 250 miles of DC).
• Handle dry and refrigerated freight.
• Perform no-touch freight duties (mix of drop & hook + live unload).
• Complete shifts averaging ~12 hours/day.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Maintain reliable transportation to/from the DC daily.
