About The Position
Trimac is hiring a local company driver to deliver general chemicals. The role includes pickups in Michigan and deliveries in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana. Drivers are home daily and work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends based on customer demand. Start times vary from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., and shifts are 10–12 hours. Compensation is $1,200–$1,800 gross per week, with mileage paid at $0.70 per mile for all miles. Pay is weekly by direct deposit, and orientation training is paid.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- One year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
- TWIC credential.
- Pass the Trimac driver safety assessment.
- For the past seven years, no driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, preventable rollover, or fatality crash.
- For the past three years, no license suspension involving drugs and/or alcohol, record indicating disregard for public safety, major preventable accident, or two or more moving convictions.
Nice To Haves
- One year of tanker driving experience preferred.
- Passport or enhanced license preferred.
Responsibilities
