About The Position

Service Transport Company, a member of the Trimac family of companies, transports bulk liquids and chemicals across North America. The CDL-A Company Driver hauls non-hazardous and hazardous loads, with pickup points in Augusta, Georgia; Savannah, Georgia; and Martin, South Carolina, and delivery points across 48 states. Routes are dedicated out-and-back runs with no backhauls. Drivers are typically out for 1–3 days and home for 2–3 days, with more home time as drivers return home after each load. New lanes into Jacksonville, Florida, are coming soon. Pay is mileage-based: $0.62–$0.67 per loaded mile and $0.60 per empty mile, paid weekly by direct deposit. The posting also lists a weekly average gross of $1,600–$2,000 and a pay range of USD $1,500–$1,700 per week. Orientation training is paid, with training pay of $200 per day.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
TWIC card.
Pass the Trimac safety assessment.
For the past 7 years, no driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances, and no preventable rollover or fatality crash.
For the past 3 years, no license suspensions involving drugs and/or alcohol, or record indicating disregard for public safety; no major preventable accident; and fewer than two moving convictions.
