CDL-A Intermodal Driver – Hourly + Daily Home Time
About The Position
This local intermodal driving role is based in Lebanon, Tennessee. Drivers handle multiple container connections each day using intermodal containers and rail chassis, with a mix of drop-and-hook, live load, live unload, and preload freight operations. Rail chassis conditions may vary. The position offers daily home time, consistent local work, and day or night shift opportunities. Drivers may be required to work holidays when a holiday falls on their assigned schedule. Pay is $25 per hour, with an average weekly pay listed as $1,300 and approximately $1,200 per week based on a 48-hour weekly average. There is no stop pay, short-haul pay, or bonus offered.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 6 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
- First Seat / Experienced Driver.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP status are not accepted.
- Comfortable working day or night shifts.
- Able to safely operate intermodal container and chassis equipment.
- Flexible to work holidays when required by the assigned schedule.
