About The Position

NIS Express is looking for motivated people in Decatur, GA who are ready to turn their CDL into a full-time career. No road experience needed, just your CDL and the drive to succeed. NIS Express offers a comprehensive training program for new drivers, ensuring they are well-prepared for regional routes east of I-35. Drivers will operate late model Freightliner or Kenworth trucks and can expect to be home every week or every other week. The company emphasizes safety and provides support from day one with a dedicated trainer.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 120 or more hours completed at an accredited CDL school
• Clean driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A tractor-trailer in full compliance with DOT regulations
• Freight is dry van, no-touch, approximately 70% drop and hook
• Maintain on-time delivery performance
• Complete accurate ELD logs, DVIRs, and trip documentation daily
• Inspect your vehicle before and after every run
• Keep communication with dispatch and customers professional at all times
• Safe operation of a Class A tractor-trailer on real routes
• Electronic logging and hours-of-service rules
• Proper pre and post-trip inspections
• Dispatch communication and company procedures
