CDL A Entry Level Drivers - Paid Training

About The Position

NIS Express is looking for motivated people in McComb, MS who are ready to turn their CDL into a full-time career. No road experience needed, just your CDL and the drive to succeed. This is a regional driving position with no-touch dry van freight, drop and hook 70% of the time. Drivers will operate late model Freightliner or Kenworth trucks equipped with APUs. The training program is fully paid and lasts 3 to 5 weeks with a dedicated trainer. Drivers can expect to be home every week or every other week.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 120 or more hours completed at an accredited CDL school
• Clean driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A tractor-trailer in full compliance with DOT regulations
• Freight is dry van, no-touch, approximately 70% drop and hook
• Maintain on-time delivery performance
• Complete accurate ELD logs, DVIRs, and trip documentation daily
• Inspect your vehicle before and after every run
• Keep communication with dispatch and customers professional at all times
• Safe operation of a Class A tractor-trailer on real routes
• Electronic logging and hours-of-service rules
• Proper pre and post-trip inspections
• Dispatch communication and company procedures
