CDL-A Dry Van Driver - Paid Training - East Coast Lanes
About The Position
NIS Express is hiring CDL-A dry van drivers in Palatka for freight routes along the eastern seaboard. Loads stay on the East Coast and do not run far west. Drivers are home every two weeks. The work may include drop-and-hook, live loads, and preloads, with day or night dispatch. New drivers receive paid training with an experienced trainer at $650 per week. After their first solo dispatch, drivers receive a $1,000 weekly guarantee for three months. Starting mileage pay is $0.55 per mile, increasing by $0.01 for every 12 months of experience up to $0.65 per mile. Drivers average $1,200 to $1,500 gross per week on approximately 2,500 miles. Additional compensation includes $15 stop pay and a performance bonus. Orientation pays $300, and travel is covered.
Requirements
- Have a Class A CDL.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Graduate from a verifiable CDL school with at least 120 hours of training.
- Have no more than two moving violations in the past two years.
- Have no major preventable accidents in the past five years.
- Have no DUI/DWI within the past five to ten years.
- Pass hair and urine drug testing.
