CDL A Driver - Weekend Shifts
About The Position
GXO is hiring a CDL Driver to operate company equipment and support its logistics operations. The role works a weekend day schedule from Friday through Monday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Drivers operate tractors around the site and on public roads, moving multiple styles of 53-foot trailers. They inspect tractors and trailers, safely maneuver equipment through designated facility lanes and areas, maintain housekeeping, and load or unload freight and supplies or assist with those tasks. Employees must follow all safety policies and practices. Pay starts at $30.50 per hour, with overtime pay available after 40 hours worked per week and a $2.00-per-hour shift differential for the weekend day shift. Requirements
- At least 6 months of Class A Commercial Driver’s License experience within the last 3 years.
- A current, valid Class A CDL.
- A safe driving record.

- Experience moving multiple types of trailers, such as tanks, vans, and flatbeds.
Responsibilities
- Drive a tractor on site or on public roads, moving multiple styles of 53-foot trailers.
- Inspect the tractor or yard truck before and after the shift.
- Maneuver the tractor and trailer safely throughout the facility within designated lanes and areas.
- Maintain housekeeping within the assigned tractor or trailer and defined areas.
- Inspect trailers to be moved to verify their condition.
- Load and unload freight and supplies, or assist with loading and unloading the truck.
- Work safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
