CDL-A Driver
About The Position
Penn Jersey Diesel & Trailer is seeking a part-time CDL-A Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional driver who values being home daily, enjoys a consistent schedule, and thrives in a friendly, supportive environment. You will primarily deliver straight trucks, trailers, and tractors to and from customers within the Tri-State area while ensuring safety and reliability every step of the way. Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Ability to pass required background screenings per Federal DOT regulations.
- Knowledge of the local Tri-State area preferred.
- Must be able to report daily to our Philadelphia (Tacony) location.
- Availability to work Thursday & Friday primarily but may be asked to pick up additional days throughout the week; 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver straight trucks, trailers, and tractors within the Tri-State area (Philadelphia–Allentown–Baltimore–Central NJ).
- Operate chase car and coordinate driving responsibilities with team members as needed.
- Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Communicate timely updates and status reports with the manager.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company policies.
