About The Position

American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers based in Jackson, MS. This position is open to drivers who are new to the industry and looking for a structured start — paid training is included and there are no upfront costs. After training, drivers run consistent OTR miles and earn between $1,200 and $1,500 weekly. The job involves dry van, no-touch freight, with approximately 60% drop and hook. Drivers can expect to average 2,200–2,500 miles per week with consistent dispatch and minimal downtime, handling both day and night runs. After training, the pay is $0.56–$0.65 CPM based on experience, with weekly earnings typically between $1,200–$1,500. Stop, layover, and breakdown pay are included, with pay reviews every six months. Orientation is paid at $300, and direct deposit is provided weekly. Drivers will be home every two weeks on a planned schedule. The equipment provided includes assigned Freightliner or Kenworth trucks (2022–2025) with APUs.

Requirements

21+ years old with a valid Class A CDL
Graduates of an accredited CDL program with at least 120 hours of instruction are eligible for paid training
No major violations in the last 3 years
No DUI in the last 5 years
Must pass urine and hair follicle drug screening
