NIS Express hires entry-level CDL-A drivers for dry van freight. New drivers begin with orientation, including $300 orientation pay and covered travel, then complete paid on-the-road training with an experienced mentor at $650 per week while learning. After training, drivers are solo-dispatched with a $1,000 weekly guarantee for the first three months. Solo drivers average $1,200 to $1,800 in weekly gross pay. Compensation also includes $15 per stop, $75 plus miles on short-haul loads, and a monthly performance bonus. Freight runs across the Southeast, Midwest, and Central states, with drivers home every two weeks. Runs may be day or night and include a mix of drop-and-hook and live loads. Medical, dental, and vision coverage are available after 30 days, along with a 401(k) with match and paid time off. Riders and pets are allowed after training.
