About The Position

Drive a dedicated regional dry van account based in the Joliet, Illinois area, serving Dollar Tree. The delivery territory includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. Drivers earn an average of $1,800 per week, with top weekly earnings of $2,000, through mileage pay plus unload and backhaul pay. Average annualized pay is $93,600, with top annualized pay of $104,000. The position includes weekly home time with a 34-hour reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Available schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on location. Drivers travel approximately 970 miles per week, make around three turns weekly, and handle three to five stops per load. Drivers unload dry freight using rollers. Equipment includes automatic sleeper trucks pulling 53-foot dry van trailers. Drivers may park their truck at home if the location is safe, secure, and authorized.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
Must have a safe, secure, authorized place to park the truck if taking it home.

Responsibilities

Drive dedicated regional dry van freight to delivery locations in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.
Unload dry freight using rollers.
