About The Position

This Dallas-based reefer account offers a sliding pay scale that rewards drivers as they grow, running steady lanes out of Texas. New drivers can expect paid one-on-one OTR training with an experienced mentor, starting at $850 per week during training, with an immediate upgrade to a full solo mileage rate upon completion. The lanes run from Texas to Tennessee, Illinois, and Georgia, as well as Pennsylvania to Virginia. Drivers can expect to average 1,800 to 2,000 miles weekly and will be home every 8 to 10 days, with options for weekly, bi-weekly, or 34-hour restart home time. Weekend work is expected unless time off is requested.

Requirements

• New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months of verifiable solo tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean MVR and background check.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• 120+ hours at an accredited CDL training school (for entry-level drivers).

Responsibilities

• Run steady lanes out of Texas.
• Transport reefer freight.
• Perform live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook.
• Complete 1,800 to 2,000 miles weekly.
• Be available for weekend work unless time off is requested.
