About The Position

A Western regional fleet role for drivers with a Class A CDL, including new CDL holders who complete paid mentor training. Training lasts 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer and pays $850 per week. Drivers receive a guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first 3 months driving solo, followed by average weekly gross pay of $1,000 to $1,500. The fleet operates in 11 Western states unless drivers request more miles. Most runs are 2 days or less, and drivers are home every 2 weeks. Riders and pets are allowed after training. Weekly mileage is typically 1,700 to 2,100 miles, with a performance bonus of up to $0.06 per mile. Additional pay includes $15 per stop, $20 for an assist unload, and $80 for a full hand unload. Snow and grades are part of the work.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL.
New CDL holders must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited school.
Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12 or more months in the past 5 years.
Have no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
Have no major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
Have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

Drive regional routes in 11 Western states, with the option to request more miles.
Complete runs that are generally 2 days or less.
Drive 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week.
Handle stops and unloading as applicable.
Complete 4 to 6 weeks of training with an experienced trainer if new to the role.
