About The Position
This is what getting started as a CDL-A driver should look like: someone showing you the ropes, weekly pay while you learn, and a truck that's yours once you're solo. We're hiring CDL-A drivers in the Saraland, AL area for OTR routes with a personally assigned truck, 100% no-touch dry van freight, and a schedule you can plan around. New CDL-A holders and experienced drivers are both welcome to apply.
Requirements
- 21 years or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Solid driving record and work history
- Pass DOT drug test and background check
- Meet all applicable DOT and company requirements
- 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school (for new CDL-A holders)
- Completion of the company training program (for new CDL-A holders)
- At least 6 months verifiable solo driving time (for experienced drivers; mentor/trainer time doesn't count)
Responsibilities
- Complete a 3 to 5 week mentorship program (about 200 to 250 hours hands-on) if a new CDL-A holder.
- Operate a personally assigned truck for OTR routes.
- Transport 100% no-touch, dry van freight.
- Adhere to all applicable DOT and company requirements.
- Maintain a solid driving record and work history.
