About The Position

Admiral Beverage is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver for a local route in Springville, Utah. The driver delivers products to stores, provides customer service, handles delivery records and customer receipts, and manages product loading, unloading, and merchandising. The role also includes operating material-handling equipment, maintaining displays and the truck, and following company safety requirements. A valid Class A license is required. The position involves frequently lifting or moving up to 70 pounds and occasionally exerting force up to 100 pounds with the aid of a hand truck or other manual lifting device. Requirements

• Valid Class A license.
• Must meet company driver qualifications.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally exert force up to 100 pounds to lift and/or move objects with a hand truck or other manual lifting device.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to stores on an established local route and provide excellent customer service to store owners and customers.
• Effectively resolve complaints and discrepancies.
• Meet company driver qualifications.
• Record delivery, buy-back, and variance information on daily delivery records.
• Operate hand trucks and/or electric pallet jacks.
• Display beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and sales floors, including assembling displays and arranging products according to point-of-sale materials.
• Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floors.
• Regularly clean shelves, coolers, and other display structures.
• Transfer products from rooms to designated floor or cooler displays using sell-by dates.
• Collect or pick up empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Manage the loading, unloading, and securing of loads for delivery.
• Obtain or provide customer signatures on receipts for pickups or deliveries.
• Clean the inside of the truck and perform daily inspections and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance.
• Wear company-provided uniforms and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
